MExplor - Salsa and Bachata Classes

MExplor (also known as Steve Dance Academy) is a professional dance school in Tulum specializing in private and small-group salsa and bachata lessons. Led by instructor Steve, the academy offers tailored instruction for all levels, from absolute beginners learning basic steps to advanced dancers refining their technique. The classes are designed to be welcoming and non-intimidating, focusing on rhythm, connection, and fun in a relaxed atmosphere.

Students can choose between one-on-one sessions or small group classes, with flexible scheduling that accommodates various times of day. The curriculum covers multiple styles including traditional, sensual, and urban bachata, as well as classic salsa. Lessons typically last one hour but can be extended to 1.5 hours, with special packages available for those seeking intensive learning. The academy serves visitors staying in hotels, condos, or villas throughout Tulum, often meeting at public locations or the student's accommodation if space permits.
